The 760 mm sections of the Ybbtalbahn follows the valley of the Ybbs from Waidhofen / Ybbs to Lunz am See. There the line begins with an ascent up to 699 m to the station Pfaffenschlag. In the descent to Kienberg-Gaming are the two famous Trestlework bridges.
5.5 km from Waidhofen, in Gstadt, a 6 km long section branches off to Ybbsitz. The distance from Waidhofen to Kienberg-Gaming was 70.9 km. Today only the "mountain route" as operated as a museum railway, while the route Waidhofen - Gstadt operated as a city railway (Citybahn) We have built numerous vehicles from all periods of this important narrow-gauge railway as H0e models, so that a varied operation can be simulated in all periods.
