Kit of a Rural Freight Shed of kkStB
Article IDB-1004
1.080 / 5.000 Übersetzungsergebnisse The Imperial and Royal State Railways (kkStB) had general plans for the railway construction, which were adapted to the respective needs and regionally available materials. For small train stations there was therefore the plan of a 6 meter wide goods shed (apparently of any length). With wooden walls and a base made of quarry stone, this model is an ideal candidate for mountainous railway lines. Regional freight transport has long since shifted from rail to road, but you can still admire freight sheds like these - often in a miserable condition & nbsp; - today. In order to stand out from common models, we made the wooden walls from fine linden wood to create the optimal look for the rough wood. For the somewhat difficult handling of wood in terms of gluing and painting, please note the information in the building instructions. The model in detail: load-bearing parts made of cardboard, filigree parts made of bristol cardboard, outer wall made of fine linden wood, cling film. Dimensions L / W / H = 140/99/71 mm. Kit, mfg by artbeeren.

Apartment building from the founding era, kit
Article IDB-1005
1.177 / 5.000 Übersetzungsergebnisse In the course of the founding period between 1848 and 1914, the cities of Europe expanded to an unimaginable extent. Efficient construction technology prevailed, but it did not want to forego a sufficient amount of pomp. In addition to the prestige buildings, there was also a mass architecture with modifiable construction plans and dimensions. The rich decorations could be ordered and combined at will. Historicism was introduced - a style that took in pretty much everything that was appealing, from antiquity to renaissance, baroque and oriental studies. The model of the apartment building takes on the subject of mass architecture. Pretty much anything could be found behind the magnificent facade: large-scale bourgeois apartments as well as miserable small apartments for large families, including "bed-goers". Only the location and the density of the building gave information about the social conditions. With the facade, the building owners really only wanted to show off. The model in detail: walls, sidewalk and roof made of cardboard, double windows made of graphic cardboard backed with window film, light and curtain masks made of paper, dimensions L / W / H = 198/133/250 mm. Kit, mfg by artbeeren.

Corner house from the founding era, kit
Article IDB-1006
This corner house is designed to match the Wilhelminian style house (item number B-1005). This means that these houses can also be built as a large block with a uniform facade. The business premises are designed as a bank branch, with decorations for two different eras. Banks are extremely strange institutions. They take our money and ask for money for it. Nothing works without banks, the banks have made sure of that. Those who do not have an account practically do not exist. The fictitious usury bank, which has been advertising for 200 years with the slogan: "Give us your money, you don't need it anyway!" Is in charge of this branch. The model in detail: walls, sidewalk and roof made of Finn poplar, double windows made of graphic cardboard backed with window film, light and curtain masks made of paper. Dimensions L / W / H = 156/156/250 mm. Kit, mfg by artbeeren.

"Modernized" house from the founding era, kit
Article IDB-1007
After the Second World War, the aim was to restore the destroyed living space as quickly as possible. The remaining stucco was simply removed from damaged buildings. The smooth facades matched the new buildings better as well as the taste of the time. This practice was followed without great distress until the 1980s. Only then did people become aware of the need to preserve the building fabric from the early days. The rediscovery of Art Nouveau in the 80s also contributed to this. The model of the dismantled Wilhelminian style house is therefore a sober and unadorned representative from the time of reconstruction. The model in detail: walls, sidewalk and roof made of cardboard, double windows made of graphic cardboard backed with window film, light and curtain masks made of paper. Dimensions H / W / L = 250/198/133 mm. Kit, mfg by artbeeren.

The original can still be found today at the former train station in Großinzersdorf from the Stammersdorfer local railway, which has unfortunately been shut down. Dimensions L / W / H = 60/50/53 mm. Tram boarding point green, ready made model
Article IDB-1009A
The original function of public transport was to bring the troubled city dwellers to the countryside and to the "merrymaking". It is therefore not surprising that one of the largest return loops can still be found at the Prater. Opened in 1898 under the name "Prater, Hauptalleé", it offered a spacious and well-frequented terminal for several tram lines. Today she seems a bit lost. The model is a slightly shortened variant of the boarding point of this terminus. You read that right "entry point", not entry point. The eponymous plaque was still attached until the most recent restoration. It is of course reproduced in the model. The model is available in the current and original green/black color scheme and will soon also be available in the interim brown/green color scheme. Dimensions L/W/H= 188/42/45 mm. Ready made model by artbeeren
