The Mariazellerbahn is an electrified narrow gauge mountain railway connecting the Lower Austrian capital St. Pölten with the Styrian pilgrimage of Mariazell. In December 2010, the Niederösterreichische Verkehrsorganisationsgesellschaft (NÖVOG) became owner and operator of the MzB.
