Waldviertelbahn (H0e)

The Waldviertler Schmalspurbahnen are three interconnected railroad tracks with 760 mm gauge, which open the north-western Waldviertel from Gmünd (Lower Austria) with routes to Litschau (ca 37 km), Heidenreichstein (ca 24 km) and Groß Gerungs (37 km). After the start of construction and operation in 1899 as NÖLB (Niederösterreichische Landesbahnen), the BBÖ took over in 1921, and after the Second World War all three routes were operated by the ÖBB. Since the 2000s, the regular traffic has steadily declined, and the railways are now exclusively used for tourism and operated by the NÖVOG or a railway club.
We manufacture almost all diesel engines and railcars in H0e in new and re-issue series as well as some goods and passenger cars. We are happy to accept pre-orders for vehicles which are not available from stock at the moment.
