The model for this model is on the edge of the Schweizergarten, opposite Fasangasse, and is the only surviving bus shelter from this period. As inconspicuous as the bus shelter may be because of its size, the more it pleases the expert. Designed by Christoph R. Ernst around 1910, it is a gem of late Art Nouveau. Ernst, a student of Otto Wagner, demonstrated his skill in rhythm and proportion here with the windows. Unfortunately, the bigger brother of this stop at Schottenring is no longer preserved. The model is made of biodegradable plastic, the fine window inserts are made of Bristol board. Dimensions L/W/H= 53/38/32 mm.
